Learning dynamical decoupling
Suppressing decoherence on real quantum hardware.
What it is
Qubits lose their state to their environment. Dynamical decoupling fights that with carefully timed pulse sequences that average the coupling to noise toward zero — the same principle as spin echo in NMR, applied to a quantum processor.
